just saying hello

Newly registered to the forum, I just wanted to say that the EVO is a pretty nice car.I ran into one the other day when I was in my T-bird and it handed me my ***.

If there is anyone in here with a new Yellow EVO in the hillsboro, OR area, send me a message or something. Want to know if you want to line up for a couple of runs against my Cobra, want to see how quick the cars actually are. just for fun..... Theres not to many cars around that are wirth my time, but I think you may give a good race off the line...well talk to you guys later

Welcome to the forum. It would be cool if the Evo owner you happened upon was a member of this forum!

SC~ but it wasn't me.

There are a few who might try to start, but for the most part we appreciate cars for what they are...or can be.

all these pics are before any of my mods, I just installed a magnalow complete exhaust and K&N intake. The pulley and diable chip are goign in as soon as it gets warm out again.

I dont mind imports as long as they are not all riced up...I appreciate cars that deserve respect...and they EVO's can count for that. Not bad for a little 4 turbo, mods as good as the cobra does. With the exhaust and intake I am arounf 430 REAR Wheel horsepower, with the chip and pulley I hope to break the 500/500 line, but I will needa good tune to make sure everything is running right.

I dont know if you heard but a guy named nitrous pete ran a 9.9 with a blower switch to the kennebell, and all the bolt ons. He is still running on all stock internals and the stock IRS rearend. That car is crazy...if the video is still up you can check out the run here.
(he did run a 50 shot of nitrous, didnt do much though)

Hello and welcome from Mustangland to Lancerland.

As for locals in your area, there's our Lancer club. There's 3 of us here in the Portland/Vancouver area and we're having a little meet this Saturday. If you wanna stop by and chill, you're more than welcome to. Check us out in the NW forum thread for more info on the meet and our club in general.
