Upgrade Q: IX or 05 MR?

hey everyone...

obviously evom has been an unofficial 'encyclopedia' of info for us evo owners...
now i'm at a crossroads where an opportunity has surfaced: possible upgrade!

used 05 MR silver (28G -asking price but could be talked down):
15K w/ minor bolt-ons and ECU tuned that's all i know at the moment...

IX GSR (28 per :
nothing but praises for the IX - coming from an 03, and with those southcoast pricing, it becomes very attainable for any blue collars to get one...

would be my daily driver and tracked in the summertime! any advice would be appreciated...

The IX all the way. All I have is a TBE/INTAKE/MBC/Dynoflash and I am putting down 341whp. Not expensive to make quick at all. Plus at least you know when you get new you know it's not beat on.

evo 9. Y get an MR already beaten on? New interior matches now, front looks alittle better and the gobs of power the new Mivec/turbo make. Easy answer

I'd opt for the new IX for that price.

get the new car...he has give or take 1500 in mods...not worth it for a car that may have been beaten on...and that new car smell is worth 3000 more...lol

Your choosing between a new car and a used car...the new car's gonna win...plus its got the mivec and better exterior and interior(seats) IMO and you can choose your color(not sure if that makes any difference to you though)....jst my 2 pennies
