Forum ***** now a Owner (Newbie owner)

Yup... I'm a long time lurker, first time owner. I recently bought a 2005 Ralliart and am loving every damn second of it. I didn't really think much of the Ralliart until I drove one, and I've been hooked sense. I know I don't have the big turbo the Evo has, but I'll soon be fixing that. I've got plenty of plans for my car, but I'm not gonna be making the same mistake I did a couple of years ago.

I used to be a Supra enthusiast, and I owned a 90' Turbo Supra with all the trimmings. That is of course until I crashed it at 100+ mph and totaled my dream car. I had put so much turbo work into that car I didn't think I ever wanted to drive again. But the car ***** in me came out not too much longer and I was looking once again. Lancers first came into my radar because my friend bought himself a Evo with some of his trustfund money (****er). I knew I didn't want the same damn car that he had, but I loved the look. I wasn't much of a fan of the regular lancers or even the OZ's, but then I found the Ralliart. Love at first site!

It was then that I decided I wanted to buy one. A week later I found a 05 Ralliart at my local Chevy dealer. With 28K miles on it, it was priced at 19K. I did a little research into what the deal paid for it, and walked out of there with the beautiful car for 12K OUT THE DOOR (that includes taxes, reigistration, and all that other bull****). I owned the sales manager and walked out of there with a huge smile on my face. I'm going to switch jobs in June to work at a car dealership selling cars. I will then put into action what I want to do to my car. Until that time comes I'll be doing as much research as I can do here to find exactly what I want.

I hope I can find some helpful people here, but I'm not going to cling on and ask someone to hold my hand while I suck on my thumb asking for every piece of advice ever... Nope, But I might as questions from time to time. In other words I just hope I won't get flamed!

Well... I hope to see you all on the forums some time soon but until then: cheers!
