Well, I decided to trade in my Z for a black '06 Evo lX GSR. I couldn't be happier right now. As soon as I get my pics hosted I'll put them on here for everyone.

I'm glad to finally be a part of the Evo community.

I had a Z for a year. It's amazing how the Z and Evo weigh about the same, yet the Z felt like a fat pig around turns compared to the Evo.

Anyhow.. Welcome.

 

Congrats on joining the dark side, just kiddin'. The 350Z is a very nice car, but the EVO IX is just an amazing car. If you plan to mod, you will be very happy, this car takes very well to bolt-ons, as there are already several EVO IX owners running 11s with just bolt ons and pump gas. Enjoy this car, nothing can match it's all around performance for it's price tag.

 

The 350z is nice.. But on corners the understeer was horrendous. The stock brakes were pretty bad too. (non brembo). The only things I really enjoyed on it were the heated seats, 6 disc changer, and the motor.

 

That IX is hawt. Nice car. I am jealous.

I'll miss certain things about my Z, but after driving the Evo, non of the things I miss have anything to do with performance. I knew that the Evo was a better performer on paper, but after driving it the difference was immense between it and the Z.

I'm definately planning on modding. As soon as I sell the mods from my Z, I'll be picking up my boost gauge, turbo timer and boost controller and put the rest towards a turbo back.

 

Congrads on the purchase. Good luck with it. Treat it right and the evo wont let you down.
