Well, since the last time I was on here as an Evo VIII owner a few years ago, I have been through a Jeep Rubicon, a VR6 GTI, an R32 Golf, and a Subaru Forester XT. I was in the process of upgrading my Forester Xt with all of the Sti parts and pieces, and finally realized that my efforts were not going to provide me with what I really need....another Evo!! So I did the only sane thing and demodded what I had just recently upgraded, sold all of the parts that I had just recently purchased, and look forward to getting back in the right saddle again.

Anyway I have worked through the numbers with the dealer, and am in process of sending my deposit to initiate the deal. Unfortunately I won't have the car until late May-early June due to my current work location in NM. I am a bit concerned about the 91 octane fuel down in NM, but hopefully the car will run ok on it.

That's quite a number of cars! Interesting mix of choices. The 91 octane isn't so bad with the evo IX. Just means you won't be able to do quite as well on the dyno as the lucky states. Hope you have 76 stations there.

Thanks for the reply guys, and the info on the gas! I will be back in the St.Louis area and good old 93 octane as soon as I can network myself back into a job there again.

Yeah it is a weird mix of cars, but my Fxt is car# 47 so I have had a lot of other crazy cars as well including a couple of different S4's, an E36 M3, an MCoupe, and of course my trusty Syclone which still sets in my garage in Warrenton Mo.

My wife hates that truck, which means I should try and keep it I think??

Looking forward to the MR, and thinking about some future mods.
