Hey,

I'm new to evom. Great forums in here!!!

Just got an Evo IX and love it. Now waiting for my works TR-303. Woulda got the 340 but the cams aren't available yet. Haven't found any dyno charts yet of a IX with that package. Guess I'll have to wait and see for myself.

if you think you are thats all that matters to you and you wont listen so good luck. but considering you said you drove an rsx-s so now you think you are ready... rsx-s isnt even close to the evo. my first car was a 95 mustang gt also not close to the evo. but plenty fast enough to get in trouble with.

That's true... None of us are buying him the caar, not our money.... Oh crap! did your first post say you were 16?!! Dude, if your parents buy you that car... they're asking for it! Really!... Everyone in this community (EVOM) were or are exactly on the same level of appreciation as you when it comes to fast good lookin cars, so it's not with any blind assumption or conjecture that we are warning the hell out of you about the very powerful and expnsive responsiblity you are trying to take on. We were once all 16 at one point, and likely had or still have right feet made of lead.... But history shows lack of experience can be very very very dangerous. You wouldn't want to learn to throw a grenade for the first time with a live grenade would you? No offense, just razzen yah... Be safe and responsible though.

I agree.. Even when I was 18, 140hp was more than enough to get me into trouble. I have a completely different attitude about driving on the road now than I used to.

Tell your parents to give a call to the insurance company first. The insurance could be as high as your car payments.

Not that fast compared to what? An evo? It's a 15 second car. Good starting point for you.
