If this is true than I would put a reserve on it. I wouldn't get rid of my evo for another civic, I mean its more evonomical but we didn't get evos to be economical......
Yah but at the same time the "no reserve" auctions are more attractive to potential bidders, because everyone thinks they can win the car for $1.24 2 hours before the auction ends, and BOOOM you get bidding up the wazoo. IN the end, the bid price will be more or less the same as what you'd expect anyhow, unless a bidder gets extremely lucky. But yeah technically if one guys bids $1 and nobody else bids, then he wins the car for $1. Sellers can flake too though...

If you TARDS would read a little closer he said... start the bid at 18,500 with no reserve. You can't buy that for a dollar no matter how hard you try. Come on guys!

Starting the bid at 18.5k and having no reserve are two different things. If he had no reserve, the bidding would start at zero. You, my friend, are the tard.

Ok, What GR8SHAG said is he list the car star with $18,500 to bid and did NOT put a reserve price, ie you can put a reserve price like $20,000. "NO reserve" does not mean you have to star with $0 !! Good luck with the ebay, The 2006 Honda Civic Si is very hot now, you should be able to get $18,500 if you keep your car nice and clean !! yup I sold my 2003 EVO 8 to get the 2005 Volvo S40 and then trade it in for a 2006 Mercedes C class and finally last month I trade it in for a 2006 EVO 9. Just can't live without EVO !!

GR8 you can trade the Si in on a new MR and you will get your 18,500.00 for your car. Here in the midwest the Si is bringing above retail. So you should have no problem trading the car and you might get a tax credit too. I see you posted here too since you just hit your 50 posts to be able to start posting in the For Sale Section.

liftn,
I wish I could trade the civic but I am buying the EVO from a private seller. The guy bought the EVO in Jan. and it has 90 miles on it. I couldnt pass up the deal but it will suck having to pay tax on the whole amount. Thanks for the advice though.

They sell really quick around here. They can't keep them in stock!! My fiance` and I were looking to test drive one cause she wants a new car.

On top of the somewhat high price of an Evo MR, gas and insurance are murder!!!
