buying 06 MR, selling 06 civic SI

I am buying an 06 EVO MR and selling my almost new civic SI. My civic has under two thousand miles. If you guys know anyone interested in a civic let me know. I am going to list it on ebay at a starting bid of 18,500 with no reserve.
I sold an 05MR when I bought the civic, nothing wrong with the civic, it just doesnt compare to an EVO. Thanks...Phill

I think it should be common sense to know that a Civic doesn't compare to an Evo...

But good luck.

Good luck, man. You won't regret it.

I had a cherry 04 RX-8 with only 20,000 miles. I couldn't sell it for the life of me, even on eBay; it never hit my reserve of $18,000. Wound up trading it in and getting $19,000 for it, and my Evo cost me South Coast's price plus $500.

My point being, don't totally reject the possibility of trading it in.

Why did you trade an "MR" for a Civic in the first place?!?

Maybe to try something new or just because its cheaper to own a 20k then a 35k car in the end. I've contemplated trading in my 06 mr for a honda fit just because it would be a lot cheaper to own since gas prices and insurance is killing me right now.

mr2, good response. You hit the nail on the head. I wanted something more econmical. The problem is once you driven an EVO, and I have owned two, it is very difficult driving a lesser vehicle. Thanks for the post...

I went from a Civic to an Evo, they both have great qualities but the EVO wins hands down in the fun department!

I hear ya. My wallet will love me if I got something cheaper, which in this case means slower and more economical like you. I had two EVO's myself and I just can't let go of the EVO since its just so addicting to drive and I'm addicted to speed and modding and the evo does it all and then some. I say get the evo man, go for it and get the car you want. You only live once.

Waste of a new thread.

You know, there is a buy/sell forum. No need to announce to mitsubishi enthusiast that your gonna sale a civic.

Mods, close or move thread.

i got rid of my modded em2 for the evo and don't regret it at all. Having no reserve means that if I bid $1.00 on the car and nobody else bids then you have to give me your si for a $1.00, is this right or am I wrong? If this is true than I would put a reserve on it. I wouldn't get rid of my evo for another civic, I mean its more evonomical but we didn't get evos to be economical......

arithmetic,
I like to think this is also a site for car enthusiasts of all makes. If you are so dedicated to mitsubishi why do you own a g35(luxury NISSAN) Too bad your dad didnt wear a condom! That would have saved us your wasted post!

Listen...

#1. This is car enthusiast site, but read the top of the page banner "Mitsubishi Enthusiast Network". Also this is evo general, not civic general or other cars or even buy/sell forum. Please use the forum(s) properly.

#2. You don't see my selling my g35 in the evo forum or annoucing that im selling it for the evo, that's why we have other forums for these specific reason, again use these forum accordingly.

Also, nice try at the weak comeback. Your the one posting info in the wrong forum, manup and use the site properly.
