'06 WRX comparisons?
I am also deciding yea or nay on the evo. I have an 05 WRX, going on 1.5 yrs. I am trying to decide whether or not to keep the car and go stage II with TBE + uppipe+ AP, or sell the car and go with the EVO IX. The other dilema is the X. From many reports the X is going to be watered down a bit with paddles. The IX may be the last of a great line of automotive history. If i invest the money for the WRX stage II then will probably keep the car, pay it off and .........well no car payment and great daily driven AWD car. Uhhhhh decisions...
Well, here's my perspective as a busy guy in my 30s:
An Evo IX, apparenly the "end" in a long line of distinguished AWD performance cars, represents THE turn-key super car value in the marketplace. Based on my experiences with an XIII, I could conceivably drive it unmodified and be entirely happy with my purchase. Or, if I feel the need for more speed I can more cheaply modify than an equivalent Subaru.
I have no trade-in to contend with though...
