I just purchased a 2003 Lancer OZ Rally yesterday. I had a 2000 Camaro Z28 so the power difference is a lot. However I am much happy with high 20's MPG and $75 less a month in insurance with my Lancer. Yesterday at 3pm I did not know how to drive a stick. Yesterday and 4pm, I did. I really like the manual and most likely will never go back to auto. Is there any basic info that I need to know about Lancers or this site? I know how to conduct myself on a forum, I am also on one of the best forums on the internet, and am hoping by being here, I am on two of the best.

Welcome to the family! Our OZ's are slow...but handle great with a few suspention mods. Roadracemotorsports.com has everything to make your car better. If you like going fast in turns, it's pretty easy to with our cars...keep our puney engine in the power band, and turn away!

That IS quite a difference in power. Glad you're happy with your choice, and welcome aboard.
I have been here like 3 days and I am getting a far better response than my other forum (which will remane unnamed). I have been there since 2004 and most of them are respectful of my choice, but as I quote one of them "you oughta be ashamed of yourself"... great response from them eh?

They'll get over it. I can understand how/why they're acting all butt hurt about it. Sounds like they don't understand, which is fine. You didn't do it for them.
