From Honda to Evo.

Just wondering how many guys were Honda owners until the Evo hit the scene in 03. I've owned a Rsx, a Prelude, numerous civic's and Integra's in the past and i'm pleasantly surprised how well the Evo is holding up compared to my past Honda's. My Evo has been in the shop zero times since i purchased her. My only complaint would be minor rattles and of course the top notch paint that the 03's have. Anyone else make the switch from Honda to Evo?

i've owned 8 hondas prior to the evo. the evo is my fisrt non-honda car. the evo is a nice car but i think it could have been better if honda built it, but it would also cost $10k more and we know honda would never have to ballz to build suck a car.

I've owned 3 Hondas, 5 BMWs, and 2 Porsches, but they're nothing compare with my Evo. This car gave me so much fun, I love driving it every minute and I'm thinking about buying another one soon.

I had a civic previously. The only thing I miss about that car is the fuel mileage it got.

I own a civic and just recently bought an Evo in the US! I have to wait a couple a months until it gets to Iceland though so I can't compare, yet!

Im a honda boi for life, but because they dont offer anything close to an evo in terms of performance/practicality I drive an evo. My last honda was an 2k2 supercharged si.

Before my Evo, I drove a used Honda Accord coupe and a used Mercedes-Benz E320. Both had some weird problems... the Honda's door locks on both sides went out within a year, the driver's side window mechanism broke within a year, it burned oil, the rpm needle stopped working for a month, the odometer stopped running for a week (not a bad thing), and some other stuff that I can't remember. The Mercedes' sunroof mechanism broke, some part of the front axles had worn out (causing the steering wheel to vibrate between 50 and 60 mph only), the shift into 3rd gear was never smooth, and some other stuff too. So far, the Evo is trouble-free, and I expect it to be for a while since I'm not modding and I plan on milking the 10 year warranty for all its worth.

+1

I had a 2003 Si with RSX-S headswap...put down 197whp N/A.

I'd switch to Honda in a heartbeat if they made an Evo.
