From Honda to Evo.
Off topic, sorry.
My first car was 1994 GSR, had all kind of Mugen stuff on it. I didn't want to be the typical rice-type. It was great car to learn on and experiment with but It just isn't made to be a true race car. With th exception of an NSX and a S2000, Hondas are for every day commute for people who are not too demanding of a vehicle. I still love Hondas and I would love to pick up an NSX. Evos are great cars but it is still a Mitsubishi which in the way is the same as a Honda, an economical car. Mitsubishi just went a totally different way then Honda and we happen to like the formula they use. The Nine is a nice step up from the Eight as far as build quality and interior design goes but we are paying for the motor, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, and image. In the next few years we will see some major changes in how Mitsubishi builds there cars, thanks to the Chrysler influence. Honda will be doing the same with the release of the new NSX. Car world just isn't the same.

hondas imo, are cars for people who likes to hot rod, putting a big engine in a light weight chassis, making a slow car fast is challenging. it's not hard to go out a buy a fast car from the factory if you have deep pockets and honda wouldn't be the first place you would go to. i'm not talking about the average high school kid who put an intake and exhaust on a civic dx and think it's fast. they are just trying to imitate other truly fast hondas that they have seen. those are the kinds of people who give honda a bad image and spawn the ricer crowd. my $.02
I have a 02 Accord V6 and now looking for a Evo. You know I think, if you look at the Evo from the side, it sort of looks familiar with the accord. May that's why I want it......or maybe it's because it's raw power, looks, style, and grip.

My Evo has been in the shop zero times since i purchased her. My only complaint would be minor rattles and of course the top notch paint that the 03's have. Anyone else make the switch from Honda to Evo?
