Enjoy the car Kris!! I test drove one recently, and boy it is a true kick in the cojones! Don't worry about your STi friends, they'll get used to your beautiful backside

I can't wait to get my hands on one!! Remember stay safe on the road and be easy on her for the first 600 miles... she'll reward you later!

Congrats, I had to fly to Florida to get my GG with SSL a few weeks ago. It was worth it though.

Anyone had any horror stories with their shipping company? I got like 15 quotes and read all the contracts and they are all same. The way they are written if anything happens your car you are kinda screwed. You waive the right to refuse payment or chargeback. If you receive the car at night or in the rain and you dont see any damage (cause you wouldnt be able to tell) and you find it the next day your SOL.....Im actualy pretty nervous! Anybody have any words of wisdome? I did all the usual, checked to see if they are licensed and bonded.....

I was going to but i have "no" sales tax in Orgeon so if i take delivery of the vehicle in CA then i have to pay CA sales tax which is crazy like 9%. The only way i get out of paying an extra $2600 bucks is to have it shipped to me here. Then im tax exempt......

If you dont accept it when they try to deliver then you get charged for another delivery fee and storage fee till you do accept it......It seems like a loose loose no matter what you do....

I didnt pay Florida tax, just Indiana tax when I bought the car. I bought my car from my local Mitsu dealer and they worked out the deal with the dealer in Fl just like I was going to have it shipped here except I went and picked it up.

I dont see why you cant do this?

I checked. I called the CA department of revenue cause i though the dealer was lying to me. In CA you have to pay sales tax unless you have a Bill of Lading showing it shipped direct from the dealer out of CA to another state. That is the only way you are tax exempt
If i pick it up no BOL and im paying tax...

Good CHOICE

Make sure you take good care on this one

I dont know about your area but for the safe side maybe you should consider a LO-JACK, CAR ALARM, CLUB OR ON-STAR MAYBE...
