Hello all.

I just wanted to introduce my self. I juat purcased a lancer OZ this is my first import / 4 cyl engine I have owned. This car will be my daily driver I also have a 68 firebird with a 462 and a 91 Camaro RS.

I was looning online at cold air intakes but I see that the ones I am looking at are for manual transmissions only are there any that will work for a auto? Also what are some good sparkplugs to use I tas thinking of a iradium plug.

Thanks

Cold Air Intake are for manual transmissions, short ram is for automatic and manual

However you can put a cold air intake in an automatic but that would mean relocating your battery or cutting the extra **** under the battery bay area, honestly is not worth it, short ram sounds better i think and the gains for intakes on our cars are so minimal you wouldnt really feel the difference

Vote- K&N Typhoon Short Ram Intake

Spark Plugs ... umm Magnacore?

The k&n intake is good but I would choose the RMR intake. THe k&N intake locates the filter right next to the engine while the RMR filter is further from the engine and it has a heat shield and also looks better imo. But yeah, welcome to evom.

I had a custom heatshield put in, but yeah the RRM intake is also a good pick, its personal preference i guess
