Hey guys, I have been lurkin on the forum for some time researching and soaking in valuable info. I picked up my 2006 evo mr ww last weekend. I would of posted sooner, but i have been drivin my evo with a huge grin . I had test driven an 05 MR and an 06 Sti, before lookin at the 06 MR. Once I drove the 06 MR it was over and i knew this was the car for me.

congrats on the new car. I still have a smile when I run thru the gears and look at all the ricers out there reving their engines and wanting to race. Its like the male lion swatting the baby cubs away -saying come back when you are grown up. Post pics when able.

Hahahaha, so true. I didn't even have the car for 15 minutes. Once I got on the freeway for the drive home, 6 cars where taunting me. This car is amazing, as my last car was a 02 civic si, a big step up with the Evo . I'm trying to keep my wallet hidden from my inner child that wants to mod, I think this is going to be harder than i thought. Pics soon guys, EvoM rocks .

I did see a STI and I came up on him hard and next to him. He nodded and gave me a thumbs up, he must of been in his break in period or having his period as he wanted nothin to do with the EVO. Civic to EVO. Be careful! Its like drinking from a garden hose then switching to a fire house........

 

I had my car for about literally 15 seconds before some riced out pontiac grand am was revving at me. Being red doesnt help much!!!!

I love this car so much, def have no regrets!!

Nice choice, now you just need to mod it a little.
I am going to start down the mod path in a month or two and I just hope my local dealer is ok with a few mods.

 

Your dealer will not be ok with any mod that actually makes power more than likely.

 

Congratulations!! Great choice! I too looked @ the 06 Sti (we currently have an 04' Sti) but decided on an Evo. I picked up my MR earlier this week too and I'm lovin' it. I can't wait til' I hit the 600 mile mark. I'm ready to get the war started against my honey's car....
