Ordered some stuff, but want more...

Ok, so going on my past posts and your recommendations this is what I have on my IX so far... Buschur Racing TBE Catless w/ magnaflow muffler, HKS RS Intake, Hallman MBC, and Autometer Guages. Now I want to do more in order to reach my goal of an 11sec 1/4 mile pass. I was thinking of a larger FMIC with hard pipes, Mini battery, Walbro fuel pump and 680cc injectors, and do a Tune based on all these upgrades. I just don't want to waste money on anything that won't be beneficial to my goal.

Go cams, Alky kit, and Walbro and you will be much closer to your goal.

Cams are a touchy subject. Jun is putting down the most top end power followed by Revolver. Both require new springs. HKS does not require springs and are the trusty stand by. Then you start getting in to durations, which is another ball of wax. You really need to decide what you are going to do in the long run (Big turbo or stock, stand alone ecu or flash, etc.) If you are going for cheap and fast, HKS 280s.

I don't see myself going with a turbo upgrade and I will probably just stay with a flash...

Then go with the HKS, Buddy club, GSC. All pretty much the same. 264 for stock like idle, 272 for a lopey idle and better top end, 280s for a really lopey idle and most top end.

What about the bigger FMIC and Hard Pipes? Should I just forget about that or should I do it? If I don't need the bigger FMIC what about doing just the upper and lower IC pipes and keep the stocker?

i dont think they make a mivec cam yet do they? i guess you can get an ex cam. 264 seems pretty popular on the IX. Do you have a tune? if not you should get your car tuned asap.

You do not need a FMIC/injectors/minibattery, also the hks intake was a waste of money. Look up mostwanted and look at his mods he has hit 11.'s with very few mods. He is a hell of a driver.

Call TT for a cam on an IX-Hks will be out soon if not already out.

Send Warrtalon a pm and he will guide you on the correct path (look at his stages under his user name, best bang for the buck.). Also get it tuned by Dynoflash.

no I haven't tuned it yet becuase I was planning on doing these couple of other things, but if you guys don't think I need to do them then I won't. I live in Mass. and I think I am going to make an appointment with Pruven to have my flash done, they are about 130 miles away so I think it is worth the trip. So just to recap I have the following already:

HKS RS Intake
BR TBE Catless w/Magnaflow muffler
Hallman MBC

And I want to add:

Larger FMIC w/Hard Pipes
Fuel Pump and Injecters

or if the stock FMIC is good then I was thinking of just doing the Upper and Lower IC pipes. From reading these threads I am under the understanding that you don't have to do to much to the IX's to get great performance gains, So I just want to do the upgrades I need to.

I know that the intake was not a big performance upgrade but I do like to compete in shows and it does clean up the engine bay so I guess you can say I did it 20% for performance and 80% for looks...

Just call Al from Dynoflash I believe he does his tunes at Pruven). He flashed Most-wanted's and he ran 11.54 with little mods and a custom flash from AL. You do not need injectors or a FMIC to run 11's on the ix. The pipes will help.Sell the hks intake and get a Buschur intake. The intake is know for issues and may have hurt performance..Do a search on your intake and see for yourself.

Here read this and see his mods and follow them..
