Look, we've covered this a million times.

1) A drop-in filter won't really do anything. Add it if you want to spent $70, but it's really irrelevant. Just be sure to clean out the oil if it drips on the MAF.

2) Exhaust - great mod. Add it and don't worrry about it.

3) Bov - for the love of God, do not change the stock BOV. It is an awesome BOV that holds up to 24-25psi. I have no idea why you'd mention using a crushed 1G when that's a downgrade from the stock IX BOV. Have you even looked at or seen a IX BOV? Go look at it - you'll think you're looking at a nice, shiny, new 1G, but it's even better. You can't tune for a BOV, no, but an aft3ermarket one that vents to atmosphere will make the car run like ****. Please tell her not to be a ricegirl and not to mess up her awesome IX.

4) Why are you opposed to a flash? You are going to spend $800 on an exhaust to gain maybe 15-20whp. Or, you could get a flash for $199 and gain 30whp. Or, you could be really cool and get the Warrtalon/Buschur package that includes the BR TBE, MBC+gauge+pod, and a flash for a total of $1270 and gain 60-70whp with no change in drivability.
