Well, while I agree you should wear the seatbelt when in motion, I don't think the logic of the system is very good.

For example: I'm chilling in the car after a hard run cooling off the turbo and take off my seat belt. I decide I don't like how I parked, so I take off the parking break, move the car a couple inches and put back the parking break. The seatbelt minder goes ape**** until I put the seatbelt on. I'm like, "Look, the parking break is on, A-hole, and I'm not moving! I don't need the seatbelt on right before I shutdown!" Really annoying.

Yes, I talk to my car, so eff off.

Although I always wear my seatbelt and recommend it to everyone, the issue of the seatbelt beeping noise has come up for me if I use a harness. I then have to connect my seatbelt and have it behind me or use the passenger seatbelt connected into my latch.

actually NY has a seatbelt law. of course he doesn't have to wear it like 2 of my friends, go ahead and ask them why they don't wear seatbelts... oh wait you can't ask them since they were ejected from their cars in accidents and died

OP maybe if you had a roll bar and a harness and were asking the question you'd get a better answer.

Which is why I said in my first response that you just have to connect the latch, then disconnect it. That's all you have to do.

LOL !! I really do NOT get what the big deal is about wearing a life saving device, even when going right down the road. I spent a month in a coma 2 years ago because me and a friend drove down to the deli(he was driving). Needless to say but 100 yards down the road and i ended up being air-lifted to a hospital because i felt at the time a seatbelt was not "neccassy". i will not go anywhere without it on now. WEAR THE DAMN THING

Yep, also, I believe its proven that most accidents happen with 2 or 5 miles from your home.

That is just about the distance that some people think is "too short for a seatbelt".

Leason learned from Bigl4201: Always wear your seatbelt, weither it be 50 miles or 50 feet.

I think anyone who would rather be lazy enough to not put on their seat belt even if its just to move your car and risk your life is a moron. Yes I said it you people are MORONS! First off, its the LAW! Second, I mean how hard is it to put on? Like what, a matter of 2 seconds? If you are that lazy then you have no right to sit in a car PERIOD!
