where you get the chip?? my little sister has one they want to mod and it has that boost cut crap on it. i couldnt do much to it. sucks for her. she want to put a downpipe and FMIC to help out. parts for that car are worse $$ than the evo!!
there is no chip, the MSPs ecu is terrible to deal with and nobody has been able to "chip" it. there are, however, a few solutions similar to an AFC. my guess is he's referring to joe p's fuel cut defenser, one of the first attempts at dealing with the fuel cut issue (not sure that it touches the rev limiter, or that touching the rev limiter in that engine is a good idea). http://www.joepmbc.com/misc.html has both the FPR and FCD, the first attempts at tuning an MSP. there have since been a few other advancements in this arena like the unichip (preset maps, can only be tuned by authorized unichip dealer) and the splitsecond afc (allows tuning but also comes with preset maps). more info on each can be found here: http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89457
