i bought the yellow beacause i want ot diffferent instead typical black, silver, blue, white and now in 2006 hraphite gray are over play.

 

Ive pass on so many (cheap) 2003 Yellow or Red Evos, just to flashy of a color. I need something more low tone like white, black or silver.

 

i chose yellow when i got the '03 cuz that is the color the japanese seem to use for the model debuts. they did it again also when the ix's came out.

 

I have yellow with a blue pinstrip. I bought it used, regretted getting the color. It grew on me alot but I also got a quote for a custom paintjob so who knows I might just do that. I like the yellow more than most of the other colors but id love to see the evo in like a gunmetal color or even a custom dark red or custom dark green. I dont know, I like my yellow for now and maybe i'll repaint it after I get my mods.

EDIT: Its also not -that- expensive. I was thinking about getting CF hood and trunk but instead i'll just spend 400 bucks on a repaint.

Personaly I am a fan of the yellow, but I have noticed alot of people are selling them because the car sticks out. Having your car noticed is great and all, but not when your getting noticed by the cops more than anyone else.

I like the yellow. If done right, it looks great. You can make any color tacky.

the guy on evom that did do a IX conversion on his yellow VIII does look really good, IMO
