retorque to same spec?

retorque to same spec?
I have a Newbie question regarding retorquing: I want to pull out and regap my sparklugs. Once I remove and regap them and go to reinstall them, since the compressible washer on the plug has already been torqued down and compressed once before, would I retorque to the same, original torque spec, or would it be less. I guess the same question applies to the crankcase oil drain plug washer if reused, since it is of similar construction to the sparkplug washers.
