That's my average fuel consumption with very little boosting... I daily drive my evo. If gas mileage is your concern, why do you drive an Evo? =]

I have a 2.0 with every supporting mod out there from AMS and a 50 trim turbo and with everyday driving I will get average about 17-19 mpg. However I just installed the 2.3 stroker motor, I will see what that does.

People will really disagree with me on this. Some will agree, but if the car is your daily driver the gt35r is probably to big of a turbo. My buddy hade a gt35r and was making almost 600whp. Hated driving the car on the street, and over the winter went to a gt30r. He is so much happier, he is making less power, but car is a blast to drive on the streets, as apposed to a gt35r that was a fun to drive on the highway, but that was about it.

I drove my heavily modded 2.0 GT35R 1200 miles cross country. At 80-85 MPH I got almost 30 MPG.

This may sound strange, but I actually am getting better gase mileage at this point... Presumably because the turbo isn't spooling at very low loads any longer so highway driving is getting much better mileage than before..

Absolutely correct! I just switched over from a White Rabbit that liked to spool at any damn RPM To the 35r, which I actually love for daily driving because when you don't want it to boost it won't boost. As long as you stay out of boost you will get better gas mileage than before.

I love my 2.0 35r set up too. Make sure you order a premium kit that does not have an external dump. You would hate it If you made that mistake. I love driving out of boost, saves a lot of gas. If you own a 35r you know how to get into boost in 1st and 2nd fairly quickly when you want to get on it.
