Its going to be the R36 cause the G35 was the chassis for the R35.

If your asking a bunch of people on the internet how to spend 70k then I think that you just need to do research.

You can't compare the 2. Like earlier in the thread, the Z06 is more comparable

I like the z06 and I like the gtr. anyone have 140k I can borrow.

I saw a yellow z06 a few days ago and wow is it beautiful.

I'm sure the gtr will be plenty competitive.

good luck with whatever you buy...all I know is that when I meet someone who spent $70k+ just to get a stock car into their driveway, they usually think their shat don't stink. And in return, I would like nothing more than to kick them in the nuts for being like that. I'm not saying that is how you are. Meet someone who spends what "we" spend (using term loosely) it's a little more appealing and less stereotypical. I'll be sure to honk and wave as I drive by you at the country club while you're sipping martini's with the Jones'

Well being in Japan at the moment, I'd say go for the Evo... Why put 70K into putting a stock car in your driveway, when you can put that 70K into buying and Evo and suping the hell out of it?!? Sure, the skyline would be great to have and all, but it'll also be like buying a cop magnet when you think about it... They know what'll be coming with it and they'll be looking for it... Skyline's are already in the hotseat in Cali and a few other places, just cuz of shops that would supe them up and sell them... One certain shop in Cali is really the main one... Plus like someone else said earlier, insurance will be outrageous and parts to supe it up will be just as outrageous! You'll most likely have to ship them in from Japan just to get anything worth buying for the first couple years, unless parts for the Sylvia will be able to transfer over, which I HIGHLY doubt...

M IX MR is jut buying me driving fun time until the GTR arrives. 450+HP for starters? sign me up. Your average GTR will be sporting 550HP in no time w/ a tune and exhaust, ugly or not that thing is going to be a heartache for 911 Turbo owners on the track.
