Quote: Sorry homeskillet. I'm a normal Joe-blow. And I did get mine from southcoast. They were 32,999 yes, but not when I bought mine they were not. I have no special ties, I bought mine from southcoast. I have a IX GG MR in my driveway that I paid 30,500 +ttl.
Seriously, that is near impossible to believe unless you had a trade-in. If you had a trade then you've just been fooled by what dealerships practice everyday.

Tell them to add in extra goodies and you'll sign. Others such as Tint, headunit, top of the line alarm or other stuff. You add these when you cant cut the price anymore. G/L

Quote: did you get it used or something? there's no way that you only paid 30,500 for a brand new ix mr otd.
that is incorrect. ~evilevo~ paid $30k CASH OTD for his '06 WW IX MR in AZ. if u know how to hustle, u don't need to pay sticker...

Whatever you do, don't buy a new car with an aftermarket sunroof installed. I know someone who tried this and was an enormous mistake. The thing broke like 3 times in a 2 year span and everytime, she was without the car for a week as they had to send it back to get fixed. In addition, when they installed the sunroof, they scraped the fock out of her roof.

I'd steer clear of a sunroof period. I had one on my '03 and I thought it was very poor quality.

That's not hustling. 28k for an MR? Gimme a break, that's not even remotely believable. They would laugh you out of the dealership, because cash means nothing to them. They'd MUCH prefer that you finance it, because they can make more money that way than selling the car. 6700 under invoice is a joke, HouseDJ...

Thanks for the insight fellas...I guess I do need to look around a bit more or try to work with the dealer. I know all about South Coast's prices, but by the time you pay Cali sales taxes, title fees, and line up a shipping company and ship the car, the price might be about the same; give or take 500 bucks.

They are getting harder and harder to find as time goes by...excluding the inventory at all California dealerships. At this point buying from someone across the country is pretty much my last option. They have my color choice here and if they are willing to work with me on the price, I just might have to buy from them...but I'm definitely keeping my options open.

Any Michigan guys or anyone close to Michigan have any good pointers/good dealers that I should consider? Please speak up if you have any information that could help my cause!
