alright guys i need some help i cant figure where how to remove the rev limiter on my evo 9... i know this topic has been brought up before but i cant find it... can u guys help me.... thanks...

I'm pretty sure flashes like Dynoflash can erase the limiter

 

Getting your ECU tuned by dynoflash via mail-in flash does raise the rev limiter to 7800

 

Why would you want to remove it? It's set at 7600rpm to protect your engine. Plus, we don't even make power up that high without significant modding, so what is it you're trying to do? A flash can set the rev limit wherever you want, but I doubt Dynoflash would give you no rev limiter...he'd tell you to go somewhere else.

 

+1 and if you are talking about removing the 5k launch limiter dont do it either unless you got a lot of cash to start replacing fried parts

 

Veyr true cuz if you're going around launching at 6 grand continuously... your clutch is gonna be gone before your tank of gas...

 

i know vishnu sets your limiter up to 7800. you dont want to raise it more than that. especially on a new car that doesent have many mods. dont worry too much about the rev limiter just worry about makin more power before the 7800 mark
