Evo IX Problem - Please help !!URGENT!!

Hey guys,

I bought my brand new evo 9 mr on saturday and today I came across my first problem. In the passenger side of the car under the glove compartment liquid started gushing out like crazy, I went to investigate and saw that it looks like a anti freeze pipe poped off...im collecting all the anti freeze in cups and bottles...my carpet is all wet from this **** and I dont know how the hell to fix it...can anyone help me put this pipe back so it could stop leakin out all the anti freeze and I could stop being pissed off....btw...wtf would cause this because I wasnt doing anything...err..wrong

Call the dealer and have it towed. If it is brand new I wouldn't touch it, make them do it.

They really need to come pick it up, you're leaking coolant... Make sure that you tell them that they need to send a flatbed (AWD), and then I would ask them first to replace the carpet, they might not be as receptive if you "demand" something.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

The person who told you to drive it should be fired. You could crack the block on the way, then they'd be responsible for a whole new car basically.

This coolant could be related to the 05 recall where the coolant line would burst, but I've never heard of it leaking into the cabin. Regardless, THEY should pick it up. Didn't you get a Mitsubishi card with the free towing number on it?

ya...im calling the handy dandy tow #...been on the phone for an hour...they dont seem to understant that I wont have the car towed to any other mitsu dealer other than the one I bought it in...which is only 20 miles farther than the nearest (the nearest is full of scumbags). Oh yea...and I dont think its engine coolant....its blue liquid...im pretty sure its anti-freeze for the windshield wipers and its leaking at the top right side under the glove compartment....man this sucks hard...ill keep you guys updated
