sup guys....well i traded im my 01 integra and got an 05 EVO 8....i LOVE this car...its so much fun...now i got A LOT of reading and learning to do.

how do i know if i have an RS or EVO 8 and also why dont i have an I/C sprayer??

Hey welcome, congrats on the new purchase...You will definateley enjoy the car, just dont abuse it and be safe in it! Does yours have a wing on it??
Edit: Does it also have power windows, locks, abs and all that other stuff...I believe thats what the rs is lacking...

05s do not have IC sprayer - but we got ACD.

And you baught it - so you should know but the RS - no wing, black door handles, no A/C or radio, or power anything...

 

The I/C sprayers only came on the 03 model's.... You don't know if you have an rs or gsr? You probably should have done some more research on your car before buying it.

Yea sounds like you got a gsr...How much did you pick it up for, if you dont mind me asking? and how many miles??

 

03 and 04 - gone on 05 to now.

 

Yeah, that's very scary that you didn't even know what you bought, but the RS doesn't come in black, nor does the MR, so you definitely have a GSR.

Yes, 03/04s had IC sprayers, not just 03s, but it was useless, so it got replaced by the ACD reservoir.

 

picked it up for 26,599 with 17,600 MI on it...

For some extra cash you could of got a new IX GSR. Maybe not enuf research.

But nonetheless, good job on getting an 8. You'll be happy with it.

 

Hmmm that is kind of a lot...I think an 05 mr would be worth about that much...

 

Welcome to our world g-lo. I also came from an integra, a 94 to be exact. I honestly love my evo. It's an awesome car to drive. Honeslty on this site you're gonna learn a lot of stuff. I've learned sooo much from reading posts on here. Just remember when u have a doubt, use the search option becasue most of the time new questions that you think of have already been asked a dozen times. , and if you don't find what your looking for just ask one of the guys here, most poeple here are always willing to help. Anyways good luck with your new ride, and be careful.

 

ive been looking here in vegas..but we dont that many deals...an 06 with 13K mi is $30,777. An 04 with 24K mi is 27,777....so i think i got a good deal on it

 

That is a good deal around your town. But South coast, if you check their section sell IX's from 25,999-32000 depending on model + shipping and all the other documents etc

 

Or you could have driven to South Coast, CA and gotten a new IX for about the price....sorry thats a lot of cash for 05 stocker.
