What Should I do with my Intake

I am debating what I should do with my intake in my IX MR. I hope to get some opinions on the following intake options:

Option 1: ARC intake box

Option 2: Blitz Induction Cover

Option 3: HKS race suction intake kit

I also plan to get the Cusco induction pipe kit. I have a 3” JIC exhaust system already installed.

Thanks for you opinion.

Until your ready to get tuned don't get the intake, it would just be a waste of money.

searching would have yielded lots of info, but dont waste your money on any of them. the stock intake is perfectly fine until you need to replace the MAF if you go speed density.

Just get a K&N Drop in to hear the wooshy sound if you really want it.

Drop-in.
However, going by your examples, you're looking for fashion over function. If that's the case the ARC box looks pretty sweet.

You really can't hear the "wooshy" sound much more with the k&n drop-in.

i hear it a little bit more, but that may also be my LICP and ported o2/ported manifold bringing on the boost a little harder.

Don't get the kn they actually make less power then the stock paper filter. Get the blitz or hks drop in foam filter.

I have the Cusco with the stock airbox and a Fram paper filter and love it. I didn't see any change in air/fuel ratio or boost when I swapped the pipe. I did notice the pffft of the DV after the change though.

If you want the bling bling go with ARC. That piece is nice.

My suggestion is, why not leave the stock intake system and get a nice catback for now.
