anyone use an evo for daily driving?
I use my Evo as my daily. Wish I didn't have to, but I do. Not because it's a bad daily driver, but because it's such a nice car I wish I didn't have to use it for something as mundane as putzing back and forth to work.
Depending on where you live you might want an extra set of rims and some winter tires since the stock Advans are useless in snow. But other than that it makes a good daily. Plus when the boss pisses you off you can just go find some curvy back road and let that turbo rip!

haha.. I am used to uncomfortable rides considering i almost put lowering springs on all my cars.. And i dont ese the sruise control barely even when i do have it beause i dont feel in conrtol of my car and knowing me i would probably fall asleep at the wheel and that wouldnt be good.. Insurance crazy high on these? I have a clean record

daily driver here. these recaro leather seats are the most comfortable seats i ever had in a car. even my wifes benz cant compare. but like one guy said i hate havin to drive this nice azz car to and from work everyday, but im gettin a beater upper here soon for work............gas isnt that bad though if i can stay out of boost. i expected gas mileage to be bad though when buying it since it is a SPORTS RALLY CAR.
great daily driver until it is fully moded out. 650+ whp and start to think of all the money in the car and you dont want anything to get mest up so thats when it becomes a weekend worrier

Its great now that I have all season tires on it. The stock tires were terrible in the snow but now I get full use of the AWD.

It is my only car. I moded for strong midrange. Tanabe 2.75" dp, Tomei 260 procams, white rabbit. I get 20 mpg street and 24 mpg hwy. The seats are the most comfortable I have ever ridden in over long distance and have driven over 500 miles in one day.
The only problem is parking where it won't get hurt. I have over 35k and no door dings.

I actually think that its quite comfortable for a dd. I took it on a loooong road trip, 2500 miles in 5 days and i was never sore or stiff. It's a lot more comfortable than my integra. It doesn't soak up the bumps like most cars, but you will LOVE on ramps, off ramps, rotarys, and anything with curves. I will agree that it's not a good stop and go traffic car.
