Any TMEs for sale in US?

Hey there,

I've seen a few (well only a couple I suppose) but I do know that there are EVO VIs (TMEs) in the US (titled and registered) and was just wondering if anyone knew of any for sale?

Thanks in advance

Steve C

Im not sure about wich TME's your talking about. I think there are 2 models. The one sold here in the US cost about $800 and you can get them from many vendors like turbochargers.com. The real TME turbo i hear is about 2k plus and is only sold in japan.

Yeah, hes trying to buy a rare car. For some reason i thought i read an article that said there were only two true Lancer Evo 6.5 TME in america, wait that was two Tommy Mickain(sp?) editions. Those are still really race vehicles, good luck finding one, post pics if you do.

There is one in upstate NY, not sure if it is for sale though. I believe it is a 6.5 TME. It is white with full roll cage.

There is one in maryland, ive been told by my fathers friend who was an instructor at Summit Point Raceway, WV and now is a professional race car driver for Volvo. He said a woman that instructed there who lives in Maryland has a Evo 6.5 TME. Never actually seen it to say for 100% but i would not doubt it, coming from him.

That's a Virginia tag, the couple who owned it did run it at the track. That particular TME was for sale a while ago, but was purchased and is still in the DCEvoClub family

I see a red one at Portland International Raceway but every time I see it, it has dealer plates on it. So, I don't think he can register it legally.
