Not sure why you'd recommend the guy spend so much money on things like an intake and EBC. $1500 can go a long damn way spent on the right mods...EBCs and intakes are not included.

TXS MBC does suck on the Evo - do not consider it.

Buschur cone filter (no intake tube) MBC, keep the stockDV (bov), you said you have a tbe already,Buschur licp and a dynoflash custom tune. That should come to around 900.00,so you have some extra for maybe a few cosemetic upgrades to. good luck!

Turbo XS makes very poor qualiity products. I, my brother and two friends who all had subarus have learned this the hard way, i am only 45 minutes from Turbo XS so it was convienent at the time, but we soon learned that the boost controllers were junk as are their blow off valves and u tecs.

As for the waste of money Warrtalon thinks ive said, i dont feel it is at all, you like to spend as little money as possible and for you everything must be Buschur, not everyone thinks so, ive heard many many complaints about some of the buschur products, but anyway thats besides the fact, an electronic boost controller is definitly a much better investment than a cheap mbc, and also an intake is nessesary for further upgrading anyway, so why not spend the money on it now to get a better sound, better turbo spool and a little more horse power? i think thats a pretty well spent investment and much better quality.

There is really no point to gettin an EBC in an evo running the stock turbo. Having the ability to raise boost by 2 psi in the car is pretty pointless, if you were running an gt35 or something i could see the need to not wanna have to get under the hood to smoke a viper or something.

Ehhhh, well some people run 19-20 psi then 26-29 psi + alky or race gas on the stock turbo. In most cases I would agree though.

yea there are some situations where it would be nice to have the ebc but for most people its unnecessary. And i feel bad for the dudes turbo that is tryin to push 28-29 psi.

You all are correct that the mbc is better for simply rasing the boost a few psi. but i would rather spend the money now, because i will be upgrading turbos an the whole works sometime in the future, not for awhile till i can see the best set ups for the IX's but i thought it was better to have the ebc rather than waste $90 now on a mbc than another $450 later. plus i plan on a meth injection kit, and the e-boost can run that. so which ever way you choose to go, good luck.
