A New Evo Owner
I’m new to these forums -and as a result I don’t know if anyone cares- but three days ago I bought a new 2006 Red Evo MR from Brad Benson Mitsubishi (NJ)…I’m not sure if I have ever been happier in my life lol. It came with a Turbotrix stage 2 kit on it (340hp/335tq) and most importantly the kit does not void any part of the warranty!
(Except the clutch, which I don’t know if was even really covered anyway.) I highly recommend buying a kitted Evo from Brad Benson simply because of the warranty, (which for me gives peace of mind and it may be good resale selling point.) I really can’t say enough about the kit -one thing I noticed is that it has a lot more torque than an FQ-340. Some other things I noticed about the car are that although I am young adult, the seats hurt my back after about 20mins of driving, the turning radius stinks lol. If there is an interest, I will post pics of my stock looking red mr.

Also, my girl friend drives the car occasionally so if you see any hot chicks in northern/central Jersey in a red MR Evo…back off haha

Congratulations man! Enjoy your new MR. That is awesome how it came modified so your warranty won't get voided. That is one dedicated dealership. Hopefully next year they have some evos left so I can buy one!
Be careful with that warranty bit. I've seen/heard of many dealerships selling modded cars...only to turn around and deny warranty claims due to the mods. Obviously I don't know your relationship/situation with this dealership...so hopefully you have someone on the inside you can trust to take care of you.
Otherwise, congrats.
Otherwise, congrats.
Here she is!
And yeah, I know the owner of the dealer so hopefully if something goes wrong he will put it through (Although I will still be sure to not say anything too stupid in front of him haha). The stage two kit has a Catback Exhaust System Turbotrix custom upper intercooler pipe, Hallman manual boost control, Turbotrix Custom ECU flash, Turbotrix Air filter kit. (if anyone was wondering). Thanks for the warm welcome.

Hey Joe,
I live practically down the road from Brad Benson....takes me 5min to get there. Would like to check that car out sometime perhaps....
Steve
lol...I think he was talking to me? Well either way, I live around Clinton, in Hunterdon County. As for more power goes, I think there is a non warranty voiding 360hp stage option that you guys (turbotrix) offer; what parts does that add on to what I already have? Maybe I’ll ad that to the car when I come in for beefier clutch.
On a side note i saw a silver evo viii last night around 10:30 going west on 78.
