dude, i've had the same problem since 3000miles in reverse and light braking to hard braking as well.
squeaky brakes are a normal trait of the Evo's brembos. You can't really get rid of them. the only thing i can think of is NOT braking lightly. I find that feathering the brakes always produces the squeal.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Did you break-in your pads when you baught your car? If you didnt, they could be bedded improperly - you could have glazed them a little or they are worn funny.
I recommend trying a brake in procedure. Check out Hawks also or see if Brembo has one.
For GranSport the bed-in was as follows:
10: 30 to 10 mph stops at medium braking. Then let cool off for 15 mins.
5: 50 to 10 mph stops at hard braking. Then let cool off for 30 mins.
My pads are (or will be - just put new ones on) fully broken in at the 1000 mile mark.
When my car was new I used the GranSport method.
