Removing Decals
You guys are "overthinking" the vinyl removal process. See ALL the vinyls on my car, they have ALL been removed by peeling back a corner with my fingernail, and pulling them off without any floss/hairdryers etc... They have a Vinyl decal squeegee, which also has a sharp (plastic) edge, which will "lift" up a corner, so you can get your fingers on there to gently pull them off.
I did use the dental floss and/or fishing line to get my emblems off, and to remove my stock wing.

I had a sticker on my rear from the dealership I bought the car from. I went to Wal-Mart and bought some 3M Adhesive Remover (you can find in the the car wash/wax section). Sprayed it on and let it set for a minute and it wiped off with a rag.
