if you leave the decal on long enough...doesnt it mess up the paint? like doesnt it fade...and then once you remove the decal, there will be a mark left

Actually, I believe it's the other way around. The sun will fade all the other paint and the paint behind the sticker will still look like it did when you put it on.

I use a hair dryer. also, goo gone or sticker shock works to remove the excess stickyicky.

I just peeled mine off on a hot day, and they came off easy as pie. I then used some stuff called "RV color restore" that took the sticky-icky off WAY easier than goo-gone. The decals had been on a long time, and there was no fading of the paint around them compared to under them.

If you don't want to buy a product like googone, most sticker residue can be removed with ordinary oil (motor, cooking, etc.). Just let it soak in and then gently rub it away.

Go to a "detail shop" they have "adhesive remover" to use on the goo, once the sticker is off. I have some expierence with stickers, and changing them up a "few" times. NO PROBLEMS under or around the stickers!! Some have been on there almost 3 years.

^^^ I think that's for emblems... for stickers, i've always used a razor blade on a hot day with a blow dryer... Just have to be careful not to take any paint.
