Buying an EVO in the ILL Area

Im looking to get a evo 9 in the ILL area. I have talked to a couple dealers, and have gotten a couple good quotes. A couple of the sales people where awful that i have talked to, and have told me i dont know what im talking about. I definatly wont buy from them, but i was wondering who has a bought an evo in the ILL area, what dealership you delt with, and the person. More than likely i will contact any suggestions anybody on the board makes. If no one offers a good price then i will probably buy from soutcoast. I wouldn't mind paying a little more locally so i get to see, and drive the car, but if its a lot more then it would be worth to just have it shipped. Thanks in advance, Chris

I was actually there last weekend. Im from that area, and move out to Byron 2 years ago. Im out there atleast 1 time a week due to girlfriend, and other friends i still have. I will say that the schaumburg dealer i went to was very nice, and no bs. A certain dealer in Downers Grove will never get my business though. Even my girlfriend just thought the guy was a dick. Anyways thanks for the suggestion.

Most of us closest to you ended up buying from Anderson Mits in Rockford, myself included. I dealt with Kevin Connely

Downers Grove Mitsu sucks!. Do Not go there.
Did you talk to Greg? That guy is an A**hole.
I would not send a single person over there for any purchase.

I bought my car from Aurora Mitsu (Max Madson).
The sales person's name is Mo.
He will do what he can to get you a good deal.
They are very straight forward and very polite.
They have a pretty decent facility and staff at Aurora mitsu.

Anyways, good luck on the purchase.

I've heard good things about Schamburg Mitsu also.

Only problem with buy a IX now is there is such a high demand for them...that the dealers dont feel they need to bargain..because it's supply and demand....another thing that sucks is the dealers dont really want to bring in a specific color for you/specific options b/c what the have is what you get....

Good luck!!

Schaumburg usually has many EVO's in stock. When I bought my IX, there were another 8 or 9 of them in stock, and most of them were MR's actually.

BTW, what have you been doing latley? I'll have to get a hold of you before the next UFC event so you can beat up some more of my friends.
