A few weeks back I saw an evo driving down the road and it sounded just like a bike. So my question is what exhausts do you guys know of that make Evo's sound almost identical to sportbikes?

You want to make your car sound like 750cc motor? Why??? To make your car sound underpowered?

He said "sportbike". I4's dominate the sportbike world. There are only a handful of V-Twin sportbikes available (Ducati, Aprilia to name a couple).

Heh.. A local tuning guru and bike builder here (Eric Dorn of EDR Performance) was running a superbike last year that was making 200whp from a 1 liter engine.

Not too shabby and certainly not underpowered.

If you ride a sportbike, I think you look at it a little differently.

i dont think he meant bikes are underpowered....i think he was asking why you would want a 2.0L engine to sound like a .75L engine

Right, I got that much. I was questioning why he would associate that sound with 'underpowered'. My GSX-R 750 taching to 14K didn't sound underpowered, it sound really PISHED OFF. Whenever I have been around people that are within earshot of a sportbike taking off, they seem to think it sounds fast.

Ams makes 1000 WHP to 4 wheels, not 1, with 2 liters...

AMS TURBO BACK exhaust is very aggresive sounding. But if it's a stock evo with even AMS turbo back it's not going to sound overly aggressive.

Do a search for an AMS clip

Listen to the red Evo in this clip:

Is that what you're looking for?

I think he has an open dump and a HKS Hiper exhaust (I think?)... His name is Evolved1 on *******.

His car sounds soooo nice . They all sound good
