evo's have a rough ride!!!!

Just curious i wanna know if there is any aftermarket suspension that can improve
the ride being soft instead being hard?? Because everytime when there a little bump car just feels rough. My wife keeps on complaing about it, telling me that she is gonna have pillows under the seats whenever i drive. so does tein's and
other companies will make a kit that a ride of a car more torable to ride?

You could try the MR suspension. Some people say it has a smoother ride. Another suggestion would be to try different tires.

that is a very vague statement. he cant just buy any coilover and slap it on the softest setting and hope for it to ride like a caddy. for instance, my tanabe coilovers on the softest setting is still a lot stiffer than stock, and is stiffer than say tein at mid point setting.

i think the MR suspension would be your best bet.

it is best to look around...from what i see $700 or so is the average price for a decent MR suspension with not so much mileage. if you go to the dealership, they will most def. want a rapage price.

Rough isn't the word, I couldn't get a evo when my son was a newborn in fear it would shake him to death.

You can spend whatever money you want on suspension, but you're never going to have a super smooth ride - especially if you want it to be able to handle like an Evo should. My suggestion - sell the Evo and buy a CTS.

It sounds like you purchased the wrong car. The MR's suspension is more compliant, but it doesn't deliver a night and day difference. I'm willing to be that you'll still find it harsh. I don't know how many miles you've put on your car, but my suspension took ~1000 miles to break-in.

My MR was riding harsh as hell when I bought it, then I decided to check the tire pressure, which was set at 50 psi all around. Bringing it back down to what the door placard says made a HUGE difference.

My best friend has a GSR and the ride isnt too much different, although mine is a slight bit smoother/softer.
