help a newb

so whats the best first mods to do to an evo... ive had my IX gsr for about 1 month, 700 miles... pretty soon in the future i wanna do a few things for some more power, but i dont really want a really loud car or anything, or spend tons of money since im having a baby in december... im new to AWD, previous car was a turbo (mr2)... so yea any helpful tips are appreciated. thanks - steve. Oh my very first mod was HID's by the way ...

haha yea i switch between the evo and the bike...that way neither get too many miles ... i was thinking drop in filter first... by searching i found that WORKS seems like a pretty good decision.. what do you guys think?? and if i get say the dc sports catback, with the filter and catback would i need a flash or would the car run ok... thanks for any insight. - steve

Boost gauge, drop in filter, tbe, mbc and a good custom tune.

Get sick of the maintenance on the MR2? My friend had to pay close to $300 once in labor to replace one little piece of radiator hose. Good ole' shoehorned-in motors.

Best value for your dollar would be a turbo back exhaust with a reflash for it. But if you want to keep it as quiet as possible, a reflash alone will add a good amount of power.

Which part of socal are you from?

i live in walnut... theres no way i can just get a drop in filter and a catback and not need a reflash?? i dont wanna spend too much dough but i do wanna do things the right way...
