I read the other day that the Evo was the most expensive car to insure. Also get good coverage you do not want crap coverage in the event of an accident.

Most expensive models to insure

1

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

6

Lexus IS 300

2

Mercedes CL-Class

7

Honda S2000

3

Dodge SRT-4

8

Acura RSX

4

Subaru Impreza WRX

9

Nissan 350Z

5

Jaguar XK (convertible)

10

Jaguar XJ

progressive is expensive do your homework I pay 75 dollars a month for mine but thats with a multi car discount plus im 25. I see you live in my area I go through farmers ins. they have always been good to me. i think the local places don't Know much about evos,I called when I was looking at the car and I was supprised when they told me how cheap it would be oh ya I was 24 at the time, They said it was cheaper cause it's a four door so they don't classify it as a full sports car, it falls in the secound to the top catagory for sports cars or something anyway sorry for the rant hopefully it helps though.

Do some reading before crying BS. He is very correct in that the EVO is VERY high to insure in most places due to how much they pay out per accident on the car. There is only like 6 threads that all posted the same article a few weeks back.
