First Impressions...

Important Stuff;
1. Speedo too small, speedo & tach too hard to read day or nite. I miss the big easy to read dials on my ITR.

2. Shifter needs improvement. Comparing it to ITR which has one of the BEST!

3. Just got back from a drive in the rain. AWD=Awesome Wet Driving!

4. I like quiet stealthy exhausts, but daw'um I can set off car alarms idling in the parking garage with a stock and not very loud exhaust...kinda fun.

5. Ride is very stiff but still sways a bit when turning in. For a street machine, dual rate springs perhaps matched a little better to Bilsteins shock rate and a bit more sway bar would be a big help.

Nit Picks;
1. Would like to see a higher redline. ITR again.

2. Wish I had the ITR radio in this...knobs didn't feel so cheap and lites up orange.

3. ALL LIGHTS on dash should match gage console from factory. Will have to rip dash apart for this.

4. Fog lights look ghey and can't use as daytime runners. I'll have to figure a way to fix this and retain the auto-off feature, and want to see pics of the JDM yellow bulbs.

5. Exhaust mani comes factory rusted. Someone needs to introduce to Jet-Hot Coatings.

6. Steering lock-to-lock is less turns than ITR and wheels don't turn as sharply.

7. Boost gage on factory package needs to be closest to driver and all angled toward driver

8. I have a Wicked White MR and need BIG rising sun meatballs on the doors and cowl mounted machine guns for peeps in the left lane who WON"T MOVE OVER!
(MOV OVR vanity tags already owned by a co-worker).

Damn! I just test drove a used Evo 8 at the dealership today and was wondering if the 9 MR shifted easier. Currently in an RSXS and my previous was a '95 GSR Integra, so I know exactly what you mean about the shifting...

That and if I do jump, I'm going to miss the hatchback so much it's not funny. Is it even possible to mount a roof rack on one of these things? I'm really torn--the car has zero practicality since I have a road bike in the back of my RSXS 4 days a week currently (and the road bike is worth about $2500, so I'm loathe to leave it on the outside of the car). But the fun factor... oh how the fun factor tempts me...

Congrats though, it's fun to make a dream come true occasionally, eh?

I ride too and I have no problems getting my 61 cm Scott CR-1 into the back seat of my Evo. I just remove the wheels and slide it in. I just make sure to put a towel onto the seat where the chain, chainrings and rear derailleur touches to keep the grease off.
