help

just bought an evo 8 has a greddy blow off valve (purple top) and someone told me it was on wrong. should the outlet on the side go to the intake going to turbo or pipe going to throttle body? should i do the single spring mod? and how do i know if the adjustment screw is set correct . any info would he new to turbos

You want the part with the adapter bolted on to be connected to the upper IC pipe and the other end (outlet) connected to the intake pipe.

the car has dp and hks cat back stage 3 clutch did single spring mod to bov should the adjuster screw be more toward the hard or soft setting? and do i need to use both vacuum lines? only ones hooked up now

How you have your adjustmant screw set depends on whether or not you're getting flutter, and how easily it opens during part throttle. If you aren't getting any flutter, and it opens easily enough, then it is probably set right.

Also the outlet should be going towards your intake side on the turbo. Although I have the Forge DV and I mounted it backwards and it still works fine. I did this because the length of my vacuum line was too short. It still opens correctly, and I rarely get flutter.
