not enoguh power?

hey guys
i purchased my car about a month back with TBE.. fuel pump..MBC..intake..and a dynoflash tune..the car made 260 hp 265 tq...i just got a forge recirc bov because i thought it was a boost leak in my bov..are these numbers REALLY low for a modded 8 or am i just being paranoid ..im going to do a boost leak test sometime this week..

It seems low. I would think that you probably had a problem with stock BOV. Since you got a forge recirculate type of BOV. I assume your power should be up. I would check the boost leak and boost reading as well. When my buddies stock EVO 8 bov was not working, it could not hold 23 psi..... Since he replaced it with IX BOV, the power was noticibly different...

my boost holds 21..what numbers should i be looking at ..like 280?

Just curious what kind of dyno and where was it? Surely they have had other similarly modded evo's on their dyno so you can compare?

If you pressure test it at 21 you should see if the BOV will leak, that's all the worry is about.

Your Hp might be off just a little bit, But i really don t see u making significantly more without a pair of cams and some more boost
