Tial BOV leaking during Boost Leak Test

Just wanted to see what your opinion was. I have an evo 8 stock block 100k miles, FP red, HKS 272 cams, etc. Recently the car started to have low vacuum maybe 10inhg when it normally sits at 16inhg at idle. During decel it stays within 10inhg. I did a smoke test and a Boost leak test. Found leaks on my Oil cap and a big leak on my Tial QR BOV with white spring. I was told its not suppose to leak with a BLT. Is this true? Thanks for the help guys

Your suppose to block off the line to the bov for that and your mbc or ebc if you have one.

I don't block any of my **** off and it doesn't leak anywhere... Minus small bleeder hole letting air out when I pressurize it past what my boost controller is set at.........

With the TiAL, the top portion of the piston has a much larger surface area than the bottom part which definitely keeps it seated if pressure is equal on both sides...

yeah, the bov shouldn't leak. might have a torn diaphram. Take it apart and have a look.

Took it apart, no tears on diaphragm, when i was doing a boost leak test the tb was open, also did a smoke test and coming from the same recirc hole on bov. Put a spacer on the bov to see if itll help did nothing at all but did notice valve closed at idle. When it wasnt before the spacer. Anything else???
