Boost leak/leaking bov/wtf

Installed a new tial qr on my 9 the other day. Didnt have time to check for leaks when i did it, but got to do one yesterday...

Did a normal BLT, pull the intake off yadda yadda.

Go to pump some air into the system and the tial qr is leaking at about 5psi. Its got the unpainted -10psi spring in it.

My thoughts are that it shouldnt leak this low, correct? Im boosting roughly 18psi and tapering down to about 12psi real quick which is about normal.

Any help will be appericiated

Thanks!

Out of the recic. Its coming out right where it should, but shouldnt it hold 30+ psi?

are you allowing pressure to get to the top port like it would when the car is functioning? or was the TB closed?

I think hes asking is there a pressure source to the top fitting of the bov that has a pressure source under normal operating conditions, if the tb is closed pressure will not be getting to the top port

you'd have to open the throttle body when you do the test or apply the same amount of pressure to the BV line otherwise it will pop open
