So I am interested in Tial QRJ Bov, however I am unsure if the spring rate is correct that it comes with. It says on Extremepsi.com that it comes with a 3 psi spring? Is that correct for the EVO X? I read from doing research that the Tial QR takes a 6 psi spring.

Can anyone chime in on this issue before I purchase it?

Thanks appreciate it.

Should I just buy it and test different spring rates out? What spring should I start out with? The 3 psi or 7 psi? 6 psi is not available for the QRJ like it is for QR. Thanks

So did you go that route? And how does it sound compared to stock. Thinking about going this route, but kinda want to hear my BOV, and I can't hear the stock one at all over the ETS Extreme.

There are 2 spring options for the QRJ. 1.5psi and 3psi. The QRJ and the QR are different designs and not comparable when it comes to spring pressure. The 3psi is what you use for an Evo, and probably any turbo car. I have one and it works great, just make sure you install it correctly as I have seen many people say it sucks then it turns out they have had it on backwards
