the last 3 rides i've owned since 2002 have had 'harsh rides' and i take them on long road trips all the time.

its not a big deal...i never notice it, infact i love it. but passegners sometimes complain about it.

When I test drove and then took home my Evo I thought it was like riding on pillow. My previous car, 300ZX turbo on Eibachs and Bilsteins, was like riding in a lumber wagon. Even my dads NSX on coilovers set to medium are killer compared to the Evo.

Sure its not a Mercedes soft ride, but once you start hammering some turns you will be more then happy. Evo is the flatest cornering car Ive ever been in while not breaking your back.

Passengers usually complain... If you live in san diego, home of the most ****ed up roads to ever be paved in the U.S, it's pretty harsh. I'm use to it though

i test drove an MR then bought a GSR IX. Definitely softer ride in the MR, but I didn't have the extra cash for the MR. You won't notice the harsh ride after you hit 600 miles (break-in period), anyway!

it's perfect for me. but not for my passengers on long trips.

haha sounds like North Carolina. They built their roads here with pot holes.

It depends on what you are accustomed too. Many of my freinds who are used to other sedans(Camry or Maxima) think it rides a little rough. I on the other hand has a 92 DSM that was lowered so compared to that my IX rides like a caddy.

Regular Evos ride a little rough in my opinion. The MR is maybe 20-25% better.
