Hi, folks. I'm an Evo IX RS owner and I'm shopping for a car cover. As my Evo doesn't have a wing, I'm thinking that a car cover made for a Lancer might fit it well. Does anyone know of any reasons why it wouldn't?

Secondly, I'm wondering which year/model designation of the Lancer - that doesn't come with a rear wing/spoiler - would most closely match the Evo's body. I'm concerned about the cover fitting over the mirror locations, etc. I posted a similar question on Evo General and didn't get much of a response, and I'm hoping you guys can help me out. TIA.

our dies are a little narrower then your so you might have an issue there but id say th 2002-2003 ES model is the closest to what you have there. It should be the same wheel base and height, and it also has no wing, plus the antenna is in the same place of course. Goodluck

I'd think that'd be close enough that a Lancer cover would fit fine...
