The more I look into it, the more I'm leaning towards the Spec B Legacy. The only thing I don't like about it is the stereo and havac controls are part of the same unit now and cannot be seperated... at least not that I can see. Which sucks, because I love a good sounding stereo and Subaru stereo's sound like they where made by deaf people...

evo IX hands down

When I first bought my STi, it was between the evo VIII, STI, S2000, and G35. I went with the 05 STi over the evo VIII

Once they released the IX I was pissed. I eventually sold the STi and picked up the evo IX

I'm sure you've done your research, but you do know the '07s now come with the STI tranny? If you didn't like the STI's shifting, would ie be that much different on the new models? Or are you looking at used? I test drove a '05 GT 5-speed w/ 10k miles and it was sooooo smooth.

I too am looing into a LGT purchase, I'm just kinda concerned about the change to the STI tranny with the mentioned issues.
