New EVO IX MR! What were your first mods?

Just picked up a WW EVO IX MR the other day. I've been breaking the car in gently, but the modding bug is starting to hit me. Just wanted to get a take on what all of you did as part of your first few mods. What is the most horsepower you can squeeze out of the stock turbo with mods? All help is appreciated!

congrats on the car! that bug bites hard doesn't it! haha the basic mods to start off with are a turboback exhaust, manual boost controller, walbro 255lph fuel pump, and an ecu flash for these mods and with a good tune you will be seeing anywhere from 330-360whp! then you can do meth injection, intercooler and piping, an intake an exhaust cam for now until a complete set that shows good gains are available
and see somewhere around 380whp and 420tq!(could be lower all dynos read differently) but anyway you can always search on this forum for basic subjects like this goodluck with the car!

This car feels so firm and makes driving a blast! RWD cars and FWD cars are common for me. This is the 1st AWD car i've owned. Do you guys get decent gas mileage?

I get about 18 mpg but that is on country back roads with a lot of acceleration / decelaration....I did a highway trip and got almost 30mpg.....

I would HIGHLY recommend a TBE and flash / tune from Jestrtuning.....

Dang! near 30 on the freeway?? LOL... I'm lucky to see like 23-24 on the highway with mine and a K&N drop in. Must be the tune.
